The 2019
Cop25 Paris Climate Accord
ends in Failure
Should we be surprised ?
A key to
understanding the Paris Climate Talks is to look at the very name of it
more closely.
Firstly it
is run by the United Nations (hiding under another name of the UNFCCC )
which had its first meeting in London and now how its headquarters in
New York.
The Paris
climate talks of 2015 were held in Paris the capital of France.
France has
58 Nuclear power stations and makes 3 billion Euro a year in exporting
electricity.
It gets a
lot of Uranium from Niger a former French Colony. Niger has no Uranium
reactor. Niger is one of the poorest countries in the world and France
earns about 3 billion Euro a year in electricity exports. France also
makes about $500 Billion a year in colonial tax from Africa.
So the Paris
Climate talks do not mention any thing about Frances purchase of Uranium
from Niger or its $500 Billion income yearly from Africa. This crime
against humanity of extraction of resources from a previous colony
without the permission of the general population of Niger and load
repayment interest is not mentioned in the Paris Climate talks .
France can
continue this extreme exploitation of one of the poorest countries in
the world without worry as it does not show up on Co2 emissions.
However in a
larger picture this system of central nucleus countries relying on
satellite countries for cheap labor and resources
creates huge powerful Governments and multi national corporations
who maintain the Global Economy in its present structure. Multi National
corporations have shareholders who require profit.
These shareholders do not see the pollution to the ground water
surrounding major mining operations in far off countries- all they check
is their stock prices hence the need of de – centralization of resources
so local people own the industries in their regions.
This multi national structure of business is what is leading the
planet into an unknown area of ecological disasters. The Paris Climate
accord mentions nothing about shareholders of multi national stocks
The Paris
Climate accord tries to limit the CO2 emissions but it does not say
anything about limiting the bonuses of CEO’s and stopping exploiting the
previous colonial
countries by the 1st World looting countries.
This is the
whole point of the Paris Climate talks that is to create a diversion
from the exploitation of multi national corporations by keeping the
attention on CO2 Emissions
For the
Looting countries the Paris Climate Talks have been a great successful
in that there corporations continue business as usual. Nobody should be
surprised when the Paris Climate talks end in disaster because they were
designed to give the impression of trying to change the world but then
just failing at the last moment to agree.
The Paris
Climate talks are just bogus fake talks where the people involved even
make a wage from fooling the people .Since the talks were a failure why
don’t the people involved give back the wage they received
for attending the talks ? – If the talks were a success they
would loss there income! As the planet would be saved but they never
will be a success . The next Paris talks were ever it is held will be a
failure and the ones after that then soon they will change its name just
as the Kyoto Protocol became the Paris Climate Agreement then they can
start all over again.
Solutions
The first 2
really important policies to implement is a maximum wage of no more that
10 times the minimum wage and a ban on export of raw materials followed
by nationalization of basic necessaries such as oil, medium sized coops
and private individual businesses –with land reform and excess wealth
redistribution coming at
the last point of a complete revolution of the economy .
Anything
short of these economic revolutions will
result sooner or latter in the near extinction of our planet .
The
extinction rebellion movement needs to keep its focus on these 4
economic revolutions and not become too abstract like the Paris Climate
accord least they become a diversion rather than solution in the same
way that the British used Gandhi to their own advantage.
Leading to
the independence of India their were many anti imperialist hero’s in
India so the British selected a pacifist one to become a household name
as they preferred a non violent agitator to the violent ones as they are
more easy to control.
The
extinction rebellion will have to watch out that they are not used as a
diversion from economic change by talking about abstract changes without
clear policies such as a ban on export of raw materials or Max. wage
Even now
India is still racked by economic in equalities as they could not shake
off the British colonial system in the
running of their Government where as some of their more violent
anti Imperialist hero’s might have been able to rid India of the corrupt
British system of Government that is now run by Indians instead of the
British.
